Deadly dynamite wrecks houses in Allecoraick area

Coke Syndicate gains control in Connellsville region

In Connellsville Pa March 1 smaller coke operators met and accepted the syndicate of Frick Schoonmaker McClure and Connellsville Coke and Iron Company. Four firms own about five thousand of nine thousand ovens and 1530 ovens signed the pool. The syndicate will take a handling commission sliding from two and a half to fifteen cents per ton.
