In Pittsburgh yesterday morning a labor disturbance erupted in the Twelfth Ward as Booth and Filmn contractors moved to lay sewer pipe on Twenty fourth Street using a hoisting engine. Discharged workers attacked the engine and boiler, threw them into the river, and a melee ensued when the new crew arrived. Four new men were badly hurt, one James Kinney was fatally likely. The assailants were driven off and work resumed with the new force. No arrests reported.
