Tragedy in Estell County Affray Ends in Death
In Winston Estell County Kentucky on Tuesday a disturbance led to the killing of Pres ton White and mortally wounding Harry Witt and his son Tillman Witt. Prichell and White were both intoxicated during the clash. Witt Sr. tried to aid his son and was shot. Prichell attempted to shoot Witt but hit White in the head, killing him instantly. Prichell was arrested. A separate report from Fulton Missouri notes Robert Craighead, a well to do farmer, was killed by a club while aiding a stranger leaving a mud hole as Sheriff and a posse search for the murderer amid broad excitement with no clues found.
