Smiths Mills and Local Happenings In Mayville Area
Leonard Green and his mill are in training order as Perrysburg lodge gathers to view a local paper. The piece notes safe jailing of three prisoners, a foundered schooner at Catta raugus Creek, a possible trip to Oregon by Del Clark and Mrs Fizhings, and a large Randolph lawsuit where M L Fenton sues ex Senator E Fenton for 346000. A Sugar Grove note from Rev Emory dated Toledo December 8 hints at his derailed ventures and penitent tone.

An aged butcher with thirty years at the block computed carcass cuts by arithmetic. He estimated 100 to 125 cuts per carcass, averaging 110, with 2 carcasses and a half cut daily across 500 working days yearly, totaling 9,000 days and 92,500 carcasses.
