Aug 15 Le Roy N Y A large barn belonging to John Legg in the south village was consumed by fire this morning with all contents including wheat straw hay and farming implements. The barn is believed to have been set by an Italian. Loss about 1000 with 000 insurance.
W. W. Henery of Little Valley has been named Special Agent on the Canals by Governor Cleveland. The position pays 1200 dollars yearly plus expenses and covers the entire length of the state waterways with supervisory duties.
