Rescue of English crew from Malay pirates and Malacca relief

An injured narrative from the surviving crew of the Resistance describes a Malay pirate raid after a shipwreck near Lingan. Thomas Scott and companions endured days adrift on a raft before capturing aid from a Rajah and the Sultan, who later ransomed and freed them. The account ties to Captain Sheppardson’s intelligence and Major Faylory’s Malacca relief efforts, ending with the crew's restoration to service and named officers aboard.
