Hollywood California September 27 The cold blooded slaying of David Autink former cashier of a chain drug store was termed by police as vengeance by one of Southern California s most vicious gangs. Autink who six years ago survived a 38300 holdup was shot last night near his home by three men in a clogged car after being struck with a blackjack and then shot as onlookers watched. Police seek Granville Blair 41 former witness in the robbery and Morris Moll 29 known as The Phantom Gut man identified by Autink as a gang member.

Deputy Sheriff A J Larsen said sheriff and police in western Beadle County search for John Scholllan Jr of Wesington after his Chevrolet roadster was seized in Wesington. The vehicle contained 27 gallon tins of alcohol and various saloon supplies ready to outfit a saloon. The car, registered to Scholllan, was driven to Huron and held by Sheriff Lyda G. Larsen while a manhunt continues.

Men Fight Back When Arrested Incident Sparks Court Fines
In a city jail district a fight between officers and two intoxication defendants led to bonds and fines. Floyd Ohm, bound over on intoxication and resisting an officer, faced a $500 bond.
