Poe of Hitchcock Dies After Illness in Huron Hospital
George A. Poe a longtime Hitchcock resident born in Kentucky in 185? died at a Huron hospital about 20 30 last night after a Sunday illness emergency operation. He homesteaded north of Huron after moving west in 1882 and lived here ever since. Survived by seven children, two brothers and two sisters, plus a daughter Mimi Nina Poe who died two years ago and a late wife Elnora Bootze Poe. Funeral to be in Hitchcock cemetery with burial alongside his wife.
