South Dakota packers paid 32382.39 to 4-H club members for livestock at the State Fair sale. A total of 326 animals sold including 225 baby beef, 73 baby porkers, and 23 fat lambs. Grand champion steer sold for 294 dollars to Alan Bosue. reserve champion and other champions noted. Largest buyers were Swift Armour Morrell. SD State College bought six steers for instructional use. Sale surpassed last year’s record of 1800 dollars.

Aged South Dakotan Dies At Quinn Home
Quinn Sept 2. Funeral services were held at Interior for Mrs. A Hamm who died at her home south of town. She was past ninety years old and in fair health until recent weeks. She is survived by several children and many grandchildren. Rev. W O Howard officiated and she was buried beside her husband who died about ten years ago.

Gettysburg Man Dies At Hote Funeral Services Held
A Gettysburg man died at a hotel and funeral services were planned at Huebner chapel at 2, 2 o'clock today with Rev W P Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in Riverside cemetery. Mr Owens married Sarah Jane Humphrey at Pictonnica Wisconsin and the couple lived there until 1910. They moved to Willel, took a homestead, then moved to Aberdeen ten years ago. He leaves two sons William Irving and Allen J Owens of Benkelman Nebraska and a daughter. His wife preceded him on April 9, 1926.
