Henry Wessels a 60 year old Ellinwood resident collapsed in the Star livery barn Haran at about 6 30 am. Cause of death listed as heart failure by County Coroner J P Walsh after a doctor’s examination. Wessels had been a harvest hand working in North and South Dakota and was believed to be en route home. He drove an old Ford offered for sale in Haran. A letter to his wife found on the body described his serious physical condition and plans to see a doctor. Coroner notified the wife. funeral plans pending. Wessels, an Ellinwood native with a family there, held a good standing card in the fraternal order of Eagles area 714 Ellinwood. No inquiry will be held.
