Della Petersen and Lucille Lothrop had their charter draped. A marriage announced between Myra Weyl and Earl R. Porter at Yale with immediate family present and plans to reside in Huron. Church Ladies Honor Mrs Perkins With Surprise Birthday
The Ladies Aid of the Church of Christ hosted a surprise birthday party for Mrs Cora Perkins at Mrs H F Brink's home. A lunch followed an informal evening and a gift was given to Mrs Perkins. Burton Culver also celebrated his sixty seventh birthday with about thirty friends at his home. Taylor Curtis, age 7 1 2, a longtime Logan Richland settler, attended among others. The evening featured visiting and songs by Curtis.

Aberdeen Man weds Huron woman in autumn ceremony
A wedding at the bride’s home 220 Second Street South featured James Forchiner of Huron and Alice Thorson of Aberdeen. The ceremony used an improvised autumn altar and music by local musicians. After a reception, the couple planned to reside in Huron and pursue careers in local firms and engineering fields.

Seven Recieve Their eee- Citizenship Papers
Seven persons received full rights and became citizens of the United States at a naturalization hearing yesterday afternoon. Recipients were Emma Zell of Cavour, John Schroeder of Alpena, Gottfried Pankin of Huron, Christine Johansen of Hitchcock, Soren Johansen of Huron, William Scott of Huron, and Sarah Haines of Huron. Three former citizens were from Germany Denmark and England. A. H. Miller of Huron demanded a jury trial in municipal court for a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. bond set at $20. The fire siren sounded Tuesday evening but did not notify a fire.

Fire Chief Max Téuber reports the weather amen hut test assessed the citys new alarm system. The Cavour water supply underwent four tests during test week including supply tank reservoir well and a residence and all were found excellent. Dow L Sears and staff of the Huron City Water Dent designed the tent used. Temperature readings list highs and lows from year ago and records to date.
