College Girls Show Busy W A A Sports At Huron
Hockey and archery lead the colleges W A A activities at Huron college this year with about thirty girls in hockey and ten in archery. Practices are flexible and eight sessions earn one hundred points toward membership. Key leaders include Miss La Verne Gibbs in hockey and Miss Nadine Sware in archery. The hockey season closes with a Pow Wow day contest between freshmen and sophomores. Sallie Costlow heads the association with Thelma Wayne as vice president and Velma Jonason as secretary treasurer.
