South Dakota Legion Delegation At National Convention
South Dakota American Legion members returned from the national convention with chairs on several committees led by Lawrence Green of Sioux Falls and Pat Haley of Yankton. The Aberdeen Drum and Bugle Corps placed thirteenth among 50 groups, narrowly missing a higher ranking after a coin flip kept them from first in the 40 and 8 drum corps contest.
