Albert Fall Trial Recessed Amid Illness Delay
Washington Ohio. The Albert B Fall trial was recessed until tomorrow after Justice William Witz ordered a physician to examine Fall due to ill health. Special prosecutor Owen J Roberts said the government preferred not to proceed while Fall is in poor condition, warning a conviction would be like a death warrant for the former cabinet member. This is Fall's third appearance on charges arising from naval air reserve leases. Previously he was acquitted with Poteny on Elk Hills conspiracy charges. A mistrial occurred in a prior trial with Sinclair when detectives shadowed the jury.

Official reports note a ruptured tube caused the boiler failure installed in 1928, with daily inspections claimed. The Northwestern Public Service company expressed regret and pledged precaution, while noting no evidence of employee laxity.
