Federal investigators say a matrimonial ring operated across the south midwest and west, taking payments from hopeful prospects while using photographs of two women. Five people were arrested including Timothy OLeary, Roxie Charney Gibbs, and Ethel Rose Brewer-Williams as investigators traced schemes from Crawfordsville. The scheme involved sums from a few dollars to seven hundred dollars and used a scam network with droppings and a confession detailing how money was obtained.
