Red Cross Drive Reaches Over The Top In Huron

Beadle county chapter of the American Red Cross announces its 1931 roll call has gone over the top. At noon receipts totaled 902 dollars toward a 1500 dollar goal. Explosion at Gilchrist Home Burns Woman and Child

An explosion of gas at the P. Gilchrist home near Thoma Park Friday caused serious burns to Mrs Gilchrist and her two nieces, Anna Belle Wood and another child. Anna Belle Wood is in critical condition at a hospital with facial and arm burns. Mrs Gilchrist is burned on her hands.
