Westminster Study Club Meeting and Tuesday Events
The Westminster Study club meets with Mrs Earle Pugsley Monday. Tuesday features story hour at the library for under 12s, a lutefish dinner at the American Lutheran church, and several local group meetings including the Brotherhood of American Yeomen and Knights of Columbus. Wednesday brings the Wednesday Musicale, midweek services, and various clubs meeting at homes and halls.

Mrs. W Roby of Cleveland reports her son Jack suffered a severe pneumonia weather cough. After placing him to bed and using Smith Brothers Cough Syrup the cough allegedly soothed and nearly vanished by morning with no remaining symptoms.

Sociable Pearls and North Huron Club Report Social Meetings
Evelyn Hedlund led a Sociable Pearls gathering with fourteen members and five visitors at Averil Abels home. Prize winner Timperley and a Beethovens Minuet in G talk featured, followed by hostesses and a tea. North Huron Extension club met at Eldon Johnson’s with a Beethovens Minuet recital, a life sketch of Beethoven, and a Bedding demonstration by Mrs Shepherd and Mrs Tams. Lunch for twenty members followed.

A A A W Toy Exhibit Planned in Huron
The American Association of University Women will sponsor a toy exhibit at the Fair Store December 3 4 and 5 to show toys value beyond playthings and aid parents in proper selection. Mrs J A Johnson chairs the committee with Mrs A A Chamberlain Mrs H M Pierce Mrs W L Mattlock Mrs Donald Georgia and Mrs B B McClaskey. The juvenile music booth will be run by Mrs McClaskey and a children books display will be at Huron Public Library led by Miss Caroline Orvis librarian.
