About 20 Huron Kiwanians and their wives visited St Williams Church four miles northeast of Yale on Monday night joining parish farmers in a program to support the church. The all day celebration raised about 1000 with around 500 from a livestock auction. The parish expects the church building to be fully paid by year end. A chicken dinner, music by I L Nordnes of Fulton and piano work by Eddie Sewell highlighted the evening with continued dancing into the night.

Watertown Nov 12 Norwin Peterson of Sioux Falls pleaded guilty before Judge Skinner to transporting intoxicating liquor. He was fined 200 dollars and costs and released on payment.
