Pierre May 27 The South Dakota agriculture department urged housewives to protect the states milk as heat rises promotes bacterial growth. Director T O Ronayne warned flies threaten milk and urged cleanliness from dairy to bottle use ice and clean refrigerators. He urged guarding against contamination with clean utensils and covered waste foods to prevent disease spread and urged screen doors and frequent cleansing.
