State Winners Named in South Dakota High School Contests
Miss Etha Burnham of Aberdeen announced state winners after contests at Rapid City Aberdeen and Mitchell. Bu Lead won the stats competition trophy while Watertown Gregory Eureka Lutheran academy Iroquois Spearfish Salem and Deadwood earned first places in various events. Martin Janssen Eureka earned a free Underwood trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls for the international typewriting contest. Louis Yrawford Iroquois won first in an amateur shorthand event.
