Weed Growth Not Bad In South Dakota Crops
South Dakota farms report light weed pressure this year amid a northwest crop survey by the Farmers Union Terminal, noting prior drought slowed weed seed germination. The report cites good soil, delayed corn seeding, rapid flax and barley planting, deep-rooted wheat resilience, and ample pasture feed as weather improves. Prices show a trend higher despite drought in Oklahoma, Kansas, and eastern Missouri.
