Frank Mease Former Madison Publisher Dies in California
Frank L. Mease aged 80, publisher of the Madison Daily Sentinel for 20 years, died Wednesday in South Pasadena, California. He will be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. services set at the Church of the Flowers. Mease and his wife moved to California last October after celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary on November 21. He is survived by his widow and two sons. The Daily Sentinel merged with the Madison City Leader about two years ago.

London reports say since the start of the lowlands offensive Allied air power and the British Expeditionary Force destroyed at least 124 German planes with 23 downed by anti aircraft.
