Collisson Urges Bankers to Aid Beef and Dairy Herds
Charles F. Collisson Minneapolis Tribune farm editor urged South Dakota bankers to back pure bred sire campaigns to lift regional cow yields. He cited Minnesota gains from 1920 to 1939, with 67.5 percent milk production rise and 10,000+ sires sold, noting South Dakota lags behind national and state averages. He warned bankers to help raise this level and boost farm income.
