Aberdeen Youth In A Contest At Vermillion
Hollis Button a high school youth from Aberdeen competes this weekend at Vermillion to defend his 1929 state championship in model airplane flying. He travels with 15 self made planes including a rocket plane and rubber band powered models. He plans to enter all events over the two day contest and continues to build a motor cycle engine powered airplane for summer completion.

L John Nickerson of Watertown and Eveline Jacobson of Bismarck were chosen as the two most representative students at Sioux Falls College in a secret fall election. Both juniors have led campus life, with Nickerson holding multiple offices and Jacobson active in major campus groups as the annual releases praise the 240 page yearbook. Dedication honors Rev. Joseph A. Cooper. Eugene Eliason of Mitchell edited the book with Nickerson as business manager.
