Vermilion students yesterday joined a Sneak Day kickoff after the first class, led by the university band and parade. Vermilion merchants offered prizes, a baseball game between medical and law students followed a noon free lunch in the dorm. Lyle Wirt, student body president, oversaw activities.

Girl Scout Troop Formed At Howard

A new Girl Scout troop was organized at Howard with leader Allee Gene Johnson. Six rolls are included in the troop with a total membership of thirty six. The group includes girls from Raven and ten area regions and is part of the local Brownies program.
