Watertown Man Dies In Crash Near Marion
Marion May 5. Melham Watertown sash salesman was killed in a highway detour crash four miles west of Marion. Dell Hayhurst Sioux Falls was slightly injured. Two companions unhurt. Bodies and wreckage traveled about 150 feet. Melham, 24, married to Mary Cahalan of Miller last June, was survived by parents Andrew and Mrs Melham and sister Marian. He was editor of the Arrow at Watertown High School and attended the university.
