A man described as Mexican type with dark hair and heavy build remains a suspect in a wounding of a policeman during a fight on the river front Monday and a related robbery. Voy reported the stranger hired him to drive to Cedar Rapids Iowa and later fled with Voy’s car. A drug store encounter Tuesday included the stranger asking for a newspaper and joking about the shooting. The suspect wore a gray suit tan oxfords no shirt and a brown belt, and weighed about 280 pounds.
