Five Die In Truck Car Crash In Texas Night

The Glenn dance orchestra truck collided head on with a sedan on a slick hill top near San Antonio. Sanford Hendry of Salt Lake City and Edgar Williamson of Ogden were killed along with Ed Davenport of Dallas. Donald Tarr of Kansas and Earl Roberts of Dallas were among the wounded. Davenport died at a local hospital. Witness William Moon said the collision occurred as the truck overtook a hill crest and a sedan veered into its path on a rain slick roadway.
