Amendments Allow Bonds From Public Funds and Old Rates
Personal bonds may require state or surety company bonds with premiums paid from public funds. Amendments take effect July 1 1929, so bonds written before that date keep old rates. New law permits fixed rates for short time bonds and refund of unearned premium on cancellations within the year.
