Mrs. Joe Ritter died this morning at her home in Mary Sthemitz after ill health. Born in Austria on February 22, 1895, she came to the United States in 1920 and lived in Parkston. Survived by her husband Leonard Thulmer, who was killed in a cyclone in Minneapolis, and a daughter Louise Ann. Also survived by two sisters Anna and Louisa Scheritz in Austria. Funeral services Saturday at 10 at St. Martin's Catholic Church, with burial in Catholic Cemetery.
The Huron f. C. O. F. degree team plans to travel to Sioux Falls on Saturday March 19 to aid in a state-wide lodge gathering. Madison Vermillion Sioux Falls and Huron co operate in conferring the work on a class of about 60 candidates. Degrees start at 2:30 pm with a Bekorah Lodge supper in the L O C F Hall. Gov.
