Census Count To Start April 2 Nationwide Survey
Washington reports the 15th decennial census will begin April 2 with about 100000 census takers delivering a detailed questionnaire. The 2930 census adds at least 24 questions covering home value or rent, age at first marriage, radio ownership, and employment status. Home makers are designated in family records, while education and industry data will be collected for skilled and unskilled workers. Results to be announced locally by district supervisors after compiling records. Modern mechanical devices will assist in processing vast statistics.
