McKay Rites To Be Held Here Friday
Funeral services for Ten Scrayy wart Died yesterday morning at a Huron hospital following an operatig,a Sorgan grenous appendix, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Presbyterian church, the Mev. Hubert Keielle officiating. A Mesonic service will be held at the church end at the grave in Riverside cemetery. Banks of the city will close at 2 o'clock as a tribute to Mr. McKay, who was a director of the Wational Bank of Huron. A request was made by the Chamber of Commerce that shades be pulled down in all stores of the city between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. in honor of the retired rail road man and former mayor of the city. Mr. McKay lived in Huron for nearly 30 years. At the time of his retirement, 10 years ago, he was the oldest locomo tive engineer on the Dakota division of the North Western railroad.
