Ex-Convicts Sentenced in Aberdeen For Forgery and Bad Checks

James M. Morgan alias Carl Caldwell and Gabriel De Groat faced maximum three year terms in the state penitentiary on bad check charges after pleading guilty before Judge W. B. Perry. Groat, recently dismissed from prison, was warned of a life sentence if convicted again. Morgan pleaded guilty to forgery and will serve a second term.
