The entire regiment of the ith Field Artillery from the South Dakota National Guard departed Camp Rapid after Li-day training. Units from Flandreau Sioux Falls Vermillion Parker and Yankton left at 1 PM via Milwaukee railroad while Aberdeen Pierre and Mitchell batteries headed at 4 PM via Northwestern for home stations. Battery B Mitchell will unload at Woonsocket tomorrow and finish its road journey. The 108th Engineers will break camp tomorrow. About 1506 enlisted men and officers attended the annual encampment here this year.

Missing Farm Youth George Hoops Near Bonilla
Deputy Sheriff Harvey Hunley went to Hitchcock to probe a burglary at Hobart Drugstore and to Bonilla to check on the disappearance of 20 year old George Henry Hoops from the farm home 214 miles south of Bonilla. Hoops, about 5 feet 11, 180 pounds with blue eyes and dark brown hair, was last seen last night at the barn where he heard a commotion from horses. He wore blue overalls and a patched blue work shirt with red elbow patches. No trace found by late morning.
