Three Huronians Injured In Night Car Crash Near Wolsey

M and Mrs Frank Reed of 150 Fifth Street Southwest were bedbound after a roadside accident near Wolsey about 7 p.m. A tire blew, the car overturned, tossing the occupants. Mrs Mildred Miller, a passenger, is hospitalized with a broken arm. Reed couple were unconscious at the scene, later revived, and transported to Huron around 10 p.m.

Gravel Crew Begins East County Line Surfacing

Beadie county announces its gravel crew at the northeast corner ready to commence graveling the east county line road. About twelve and a half miles remain to surface the county line road from the north end to Iroquois across eighteen miles total. Five and a half miles north of Iroquois was graveled two years ago.
