Platform Critique of Republican Convention on Agriculture
A summary critique argues the Republican platform lacks clarity on agricultural recovery and parities agriculture with other industries. It urges pledges to implement the allotment plan and improve marketing cooperatives, while noting focus on liquor policy diverted attention from broader reforms. It endorses state by state liquor reconsideration with federal support and favors allowing voter choice in policy shifts since 1918.
