It notes 50 million potential rural consumers ready to buy but stalled by farm prices.

The author argues fifty million Americans need fair labor returns to revive industry. Agriculture faces deflation since 1929 with farm income falling from ten to six or seven billion dollars. A plan envisions loans to purchase and remove surpluses, contracts via farmer cooperatives, and tariffs to raise farm prices, stabilizing agriculture for five years and restoring purchasing power.
