Fluron Junior High honors 22 boys in sports roster
Twenty two students from Fluron junior high earned intramural letters after strong seasons in speedball volleyball horseshoe tennis and track. Coach George Hollister oversaw about 200 eighth and ninth graders as Huron junior high teams claimed state basketball and track titles with wins over Aberdeen and Watertown. Rudolph Lovejoy and Raymond Heyer led scoring in meets against Watertown and Aberdeen.

New Dairy Plant Set to Open in Gold Medal Facility
Joe Jorgenson announces Gold Medal Dairy will move into a Kansas avenue building between Third and Fourth Streets Southeast. The plant, ready by late June, will use a 800 gallon pasteurizer lined with super-ascoloy and an automatic cooling system to ensure uniform temperatures. Jorgenson and M.
