Women and club activities fill Friday schedule

Social and club notices show the Women's Relief Corps meeting at Labor Temple with lunch served by Grace Kinnefelter's committee. Helping Hand Club meets with Mrs Ed Ulrich at 1178 Beach Ave SE followed by C D A in K C Club rooms. Shrine and Royal Neighbors gather Friday afternoon and evening respectively. Adult Education offers bookkeeping and penmanship at Joora 2 Center. B of R T meets at Labor Temple Sunday. Watch Tower study at Mr Arthur Tsland’s home. Miss Mary Steele’s surprise birthday party honored at the McAllister home with cake and yellow roses. Conrad-Wheat marriage performed Tuesday at the Methodist parsonage.

Marian E. Bond daughter of S. J. Bond of Huron and G. Dean Miller son of Mrs. Gertrude Miller of Andover wed at Willow Lake Congregational Parsonage with Rev. BR. OG Rice officiating. Attendants were Arthur Greenveld and a bride’s party motor trip to Watertown for dinner. Marian, a former Aberdeen High School graduate and Clark County teacher, married a University of South Dakota graduate who is Willow Lake Bish School coach and principal.

Weidenman and Martin Tie in Cavour Church Ceremony

Miss Blaine Martin daughter of Mr and Mrs E F Martin of Cavour and Boyd Weidenman son of Mr and Mrs Henry Weidenman of Twin Falls Ida were married at SS Patrick s Church in a nuptial mass officiated by Rev Father M Martin. Attendants Miss Jean Martin and Duane Gary. Breakfast for 35 guests followed. After a wedding trip to the Black Hills the couple will live on a farm near Troquois. Mrs Weidenman a Cavour High School graduate and Soil Conservation worker in Huron.
