Huron school and college graduations draw strong interest
One hundred fourteen Huron high school alumni receive diplomas after last night’s commencement. At Huron college three candidates plan graduation activities over the next three days. Tonight ten seniors perform Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest in the college auditorium with cast including Paul Cantonwins Vincent Egart Dorothy Savage and others. The curtain rises at 8 30 p m. Tomorrow afternoon caps and gowns mark the senior bacalaureate services at 3 30 p m with Living Dangerously drawn from Daniel 6 1. The Huron College A Cappella choir will sing two selections and several reverends and trustees participate. Prizes and Forensic and athletic awards will be presented Monday during final chapel. Alumni dinner Monday night features former students including Luther Nelson from Onida.
