State College To Give 159 Degrees at 47th Graduation
Brookings, June 5 State college will grant 159 degrees at its 47th annual graduation exercises Friday June 9. Bachelor of Science degrees will be awarded to 136 seniors, remaining 23 to pharmaceutical chemists and masters of science. Regent Alvin Waggoner will deliver commencement address. The program spans Baccalaureate services, band concert, class play Seventh Heaven, music recital, faculty reception, and alumni gathering. Candidates listed by department include Agriculture Civil Electrical Mechanical Home Economics Pharmacy Commercial Science General Science Industrial Arts and more with numerous named graduates from Brookings and surrounding towns.
