Defense program braces for uniform labor deal

Washington reports the office of production management approved a uniform agreement between defense agencies and the AFL Building Trades. The pact covers 800,000 direct workers and about 1.5 million indirectly, setting time and a half overtime after 40 hours on single shifts and 37 1 2 hours for multi shift work.
