Predicts Race In Television
C E Butterfield, Associated Press Radio Editor, notes a rapid race between CBS NBC in television experiments. He cites antenna heights atop New York buildings to boost signals, with CBS at about 28 floors above street and NBC atop Empire State’s 86th floor. Height worsens absorption by nearby skyscrapers, aiding signal strength. NBC plans foresee further progress before public involvement.
