J J Bachman a Beadle County pioneer since 1886 died yesterday afternoon at his Hitchcock home after a brief illness from heat prostration. Born December 6, 1846 in Watertown New York he is survived by a widow and two sons Walter J Bachman of Huron and Erwin D Bachman of Webster plus four daughters Estella of Hitchcock Lydia Gibson of Chicago Anna Montague of Aberdeen and C Wright of Huron who preceded him in death. Funeral arrangements are pending word from out of town relatives.
