Officers Avert Water Crisis At Rapid City Air Base
Rapid City air base faced a major water shortage when a well ran dry and the second pump failed. Major Ellis Eno Lt William H Rankin and Major Tiarvey Eustrom coordinated around the clock with the U S Forest Service to transport water from Rapid City. Water use was restricted to essential needs as crews worked to repair the damaged pump with hopes of full service by week’s end.
