Lands Governor For Harvest Aid
ABERDEEN July 10 H B Tost president of the South Dakota Firm Bureau Federation commended Gov M Q Sharpe for working with the state AAA in securing aid of costume combine operators from the south for the 2013 harvest season. Present prospects for a crop in this part of the state are exceedingly good and with shortages of farm machinery harvesting machinery and labor it is imperative that everything possible be done to avert great loss of food and feed. Not only is there a great scarcity of harvesting machines but we are not going to be in need of a large number of trucks from the outside to take care of grain from combines and threshing machines.
