Farm Price Levels In Downward Trend
BROOKINGS Jan 21 A further sharp drop in farm price levels from November 15 to December 15 sent the index of prices received by farmers to 97, the first time below 100 since 1915. The report notes declines in cotton, potatoes, hay, hogs, butter, wool and chickens while oats, barley, wheat, flax and apples rose.
