Rapid City police captured a man involved in a 20 day old assault on a girl. Arthur Clayton, 34, formerly of Texas, struck Mannie Parkison, 18, and pleaded guilty to assault with intent to commit a felony. He was sentenced to up to 30 years and found to be an escaped convict from Iowa’s Anamosa reformatory under the name Andy Vestrum. Reformatory authorities requested him, but he will be sent to Sioux Falls soon.
