CWA Rules Misquoted Says State Auditor
Pierre February 7 State Auditor George ONeill issued a statement warning that unauthorized remarks by state officials on civil works administration policies caused confusion and restraint. He cited no exact instances but noted department heads had disagreed with the relief director and some had spoken authoritatively on CWA policies. He praised the CWA team’s work and argued officials had no right to quote him against the relief director.
