Hunt Indian hunted for killing his wife at Lake Andes

Temporary Hoover Offices Move to War Building
Washington December 27 Temporary headquarters were provided for President Hoover at the State War and Navy Building in a spacious suite enabling him to watch the restoration of the White House from an executive office. The new working place sits in the office area once used by the Dary and later General Pershing in recognition of his career and rank. Preparations aimed to speed transfer of necessary items so Hoover could occupy the office soon and limit living quarters visits. Pershing's personal possessions including flags decorations and trophies were moved to a closet for safekeeping until his return from a trip west and disposal directions are given.

Huron couple marked 63 years of marriage
Mr and Mrs GH Kimm of rural Huron celebrate 63 years since their wedding in Marengo Iowa. He born 1835 in Sandhausen Germany, came to the United States in 1853, Civil War veteran.
